Happiest of Happy New year's, Miss Beth, and to all of my beloved Vixpeeps!

Kal and I are having a quiet evening (it's only 11:00 p.m. as I type this) and are hoping that everyone is celebrating the way they love best. <3

Sweet 2016 is gonna rock !

My first resolution this year is to slow down my thoughts. Speak less but with more confidence.

great resolution - I've actually been thinking about my speech as well - lower my tone, make people want to listen rather than make people hear me.

    Oooo...lowering the tone....interesting !

I've noticed how graceful it is to not justify anything to anyone.

Heh - I've had to do the opposite. My natural voice is deep so I have trained myself to speak in a higher tone. I forgot to do that once when I was being interviewed on TV. I wasn't looking at the TV when the newscast was on and thought "who's that guy with the deep voice?"; looked up and it was me!

I try to learn a new skill or two every year. I was thinking of learning how to write JavaScript this year.

Happy New Year, Miss Beth! I've had a nice evening, nothing too wild, and now it's back to work. It's going to be a full year and my resolution is to "yes" to every invitation I receive :).

I wouldn't even know where to begin!

But it never hurts to learn a new language!
(that's what it is really, right? A programming language?)

So tempted to invite you to New York ...

    ;)

I've made the commitment to be more social. I wasn't working and it has dawned on my how devastating that is not just for my social life but my mental health.
My new job I get only monday's off but I'm going to do something like meet a friend for happy hour on those days. I'm really looking forward to it.

:) Whistlebait, I love that I think of you just as a friend and forgot that we really just used to be vixens together.
You always inspire me to have a balanced life - I know you'll protest but you do really set a good example for that.
