None of my cats ever got ringworm so I've never tried to treat it, but here are two links that have more info: ASPCA: RINGWORM VCA ANIMAL HOSPITALS: RINGWORM IN CATS I hope they help and that your baby feels better soon! reply to Robynne ![]() Ringworm in cats is self limiting, it should be gone in 2-4 weeks. Unless the cat is scratching or licking excessively, you don't have to do anything. The hair will grow back. The real problem is that crosses to humans. A new kitten gave to one of my cats, and I got a patch under my chin. A trip to the doctor and an anti fungal cream took care of it.

My precious, perfect kitty got ringworm from a cat I was fostering!! I am furious. Her perfect coat is compromised! I am worried and really do not want to spring for a vet right now. I spent thousands last year when my #1 kitty Lucy died.
She had a small scaley bit on her ear that seems to have gone away from nail polish but she has a large bald patch on her front leg that I don't know what to do with. I am not sure it is getting better. :(
Right now I am putting a little bit of lotrimin on it 2x per day and I bought an inflatable pillow thingy that is around her neck so she can't lick it off.
